Blackpool's match with Manchester United of Barclays Premier League at Bloomfield Road has been called off due to the bad weather.
Following a pitch inspection on Friday afternoon from referee Peter Walton, it has been decided that the Barclays Premier League match will be postponed.
Mr Walton expressed concern that the severely affected areas of the playing surface would not thaw sufficiently for the fixture to be completed.
Blackpool hired a heated pitch cover in a bid to ensure the match went ahead as Bloomfield Road does not have undersoil heating, but they must now wait a little longer to host Manchester United for the first time since 1970.
